"3 episodes per season? Every other year? That sounds like a dreadful show to be a fan of. You get mere seconds of satisfaction and a lifetime of yearning. I imagine it must be horribly frustrating."
This is how I felt about Sherlock and it’s fandom. I only heard about the shows existence through people on Tumblr ranting about how great the show is, and how long it’s been since a new episode had come out. I learned about the existence of the actors through the obsessive eyes of Tumblr, as well. Before they were both cast in The Hobbit, that is.
The main guy, Benedict Cumberbatch, I never found attractive, so I never bothered to pay attention to him. However, as time marched forward, I started to notice more and more people (mostly women) falling deeply in love with him. The affection for this man completely eluded me. I’d never seen him act, so based on looks alone, I never understood the attraction. So, as my luck would have it, who do I constantly (and I mean CONSTANTLY) run into everywhere? Benedict Fucking Cumberbatch.
when girls press their whole body against you when they hug, it means they like you a lot. also, they’re measuring your body to determine how long it will take them to eat your flesh, a technique shared by boa constrictors
Or they’re measuring how warm you are, meaning how quickly your blood is pumping, in order to determine how long it will take them to suck your blood and bleed you dry.
